PNB Bank Statement Password
Punjab National Bank statements usually open with your date of birth, but not always. Here is the try-order that covers every reported PNB format, and a tool to remove the password.
For a Punjab National Bank statement PDF, try these passwords in order:
| Try | Password | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Date of birth in DDMMYYYY | Born 15 Aug 1990: 15081990 |
| 2 | Full account number (14 to 16 digits) | 1234567891234567 |
| 3 | Customer ID (9 digits) | 932293945 |
The date of birth form is the most commonly reported, but PNB PDFs generated through different channels genuinely vary, which is why the account number and customer ID are worth trying next. The email that delivered the statement states the exact format for that PDF; PNB includes password guidance in the message body, and it wins over any list, including this one.

PNB credit card statement password
Card statements use a different format: the first 4 characters of the name printed on your card, in lowercase, followed by your date of birth in DDMMYYYY. The name part is taken literally, including dots and spaces within the first 4 characters: "Rohit" born 15 September 1985 gives rohi15091985, while "S. Roy" starts s.ro.
Old OBC or United Bank of India account?
PNB absorbed Oriental Bank of Commerce and United Bank of India in April 2020. Migrated accounts use the standard PNB formats above for new statements; only pre-merger PDFs still carry legacy branding, and no separate legacy password scheme is documented as remaining in force. If an old OBC or UBI statement resists, the covering email from that era is the best guide.
PNB statement password not working?
- Leading zeros. Born 5 January 1990? The date form is 05011990.
- DOB as per bank records. Verify it in PNB ONE or net banking if unsure.
- Joint accounts use the primary holder’s date of birth.
- Work the full try-order. Date, then account number, then customer ID; different PNB channels produce differently protected PDFs.
And once you are in, the tool above removes the password permanently: one entry, one download, no more guessing which of three formats this month’s PDF wants. Your file never leaves your browser.
