How to extract pages from a PDF

Save one page of a PDF (or any set of pages)
The most common version of this job is the simplest: you need page 3 of a statement, or the signature page of a contract, as its own file. Click that one thumbnail and extract, done. But the selection is free-form, so any set works: pages 2, 5, and 9 into one document, a chapter's range, or everything except the appendix. The extracted pages keep their original order regardless of the order you clicked them in.
Extraction copies pages exactly: selectable text, full-resolution images, links, and form fields all carry over into the new file, with no quality loss and no watermark.
