Remove Pages from a PDF
Delete unwanted pages from a PDF by clicking them in a preview, then download the trimmed document. Runs entirely in your browser, so your file is never uploaded.
This free tool deletes pages from a PDF without any software. Drop in the file, click the pages you want gone on a thumbnail preview, and download a copy without them. Blank scanner pages, cover sheets, outdated sections, and duplicate pages disappear in seconds, with no signup and no watermark.
Everything runs locally in your browser: the document is never uploaded, which makes this safe for exactly the files people usually need to trim, like contracts, statements, and reports. Your original file stays untouched; you always download a new copy.
How to delete pages from a PDF
- Select your PDF
Drag a PDF into the box above or click to browse. Every page appears as a numbered thumbnail.
- Click the pages to remove
Selected pages are marked clearly. Click again to keep a page after all; "Select all" and "Select none" help with long documents.
- Check the count
The toolbar shows how many pages are marked for removal and how many will remain, so you cannot accidentally delete the wrong amount.
- Download the trimmed PDF
Click "Remove selected pages" and a copy without those pages downloads immediately. The original file on your device is not modified.
What survives when pages are removed
The remaining pages are copied into the new file exactly as they were: selectable text, images at full quality, links, and form fields all survive, and nothing is rasterized or watermarked. Page numbering printed on the pages obviously does not renumber itself, but the document structure is clean, and the file usually gets smaller in proportion to what you removed.
Only need to pull a few pages out as their own document, rather than delete them? That is the mirror image of this tool: use our extract PDF pages tool instead, which saves the selected pages as a new PDF.
The usual suspects: blank pages, cover sheets, and duplicates
Most page-removal jobs come from scanning: double-fed sheets produce duplicates, the back of single-sided originals produces blank pages, and fax-style cover sheets ride along at the front. Combining documents also leaves stray separator pages behind. Because this tool shows every page as a thumbnail, these are easy to spot and click away in one pass, and the preview means you delete exactly what you intend to, not a guessed page range.

Frequently asked questions
How do I remove pages from a PDF?
Drop the PDF into the tool above, click the thumbnails of the pages you want to delete, and click "Remove selected pages". A copy of the PDF without those pages downloads immediately, and everything happens in your browser.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The pages are removed locally in your browser and the document never leaves your device, so it is safe for contracts, bank statements, and other private files.
Does deleting pages change the quality of the rest?
No. The remaining pages are copied over unchanged: text stays selectable, images keep their resolution, and links and form fields keep working. There is no watermark.
Can I delete multiple pages at once?
Yes. Select as many pages as you like, or use "Select all" and then unselect the pages you want to keep. The toolbar always shows how many pages will remain.
Is my original file changed?
No. Your original PDF stays exactly as it is on your device; the tool downloads a new copy with the selected pages removed.
Can I remove pages from a password-protected PDF?
Not directly: encrypted files cannot be edited. Remove the password first with our free Unlock PDF tool, then delete the pages from the unlocked copy.
